Ambassador Mamadou Coulibaly Highlights Unity Ahead of Burkina Faso vs Mali U17 AFCON Semi-Final

Casablanca: Burkina Faso’s ambassador to Morocco, Mamadou Coulibaly, emphasized the spirit of unity as Burkina Faso prepares to face Mali in the semi-final of the U17 African Cup of Nations. Coulibaly underscored that a win for either team would represent a triumph for the Alliance of Sahel States (AES).



According to Burkina Information Agency, the ambassador expressed his sentiments during the National Days of Patriotic Commitment and Civic Participation (JNEPPC) held in Casablanca. This event, organized by the Burkina Faso Embassy in Morocco, was attended by the Malian Ambassador to Morocco, students, Moroccan partners, and staff from the Burkina Faso Embassy.



The much-anticipated match between the Cadet Stallions of Burkina Faso and the Aiglonnets of Mali is set to take place on Tuesday, April 15th at the Laarbi Zaouli stadium in Casablanca. Kick-off is scheduled for 5 p.m. Moroccan time and 4 p.m. UT. The other semi-final will feature the host country, Morocco, taking on C´te d’Ivoire. The U17 AFCON tournament is being held in the Cherifian Kingdom, running from March 30th to April 19th.
