Barth©l©mie Boudaon© Takes Helm as Ganzourgou’s Head of Secondary Education

Ganzourgou: Barth©l©mie Boudaon© has been officially installed as the new provincial director of secondary education, vocational and technical training in Ganzourgou. The ceremony, conducted by the High Commissioner of Ganzourgou Province, Aminata Sorgho/Gouba, took place at the Zorgho town hall. Attendees included education officials, authorities, and social partners.



According to Burkina Information Agency, Barth©l©mie Boudaon© was appointed by the Council of Ministers on April 3, 2025, and officially assumed his duties on April 11. He succeeds Salifou S©r©, who has been moved to new roles. In his address, Boudaon© extended gratitude to the minister for the trust placed in him and emphasized the importance of collaboration with department heads, teachers, and supervisors, stressing the need to focus on the students’ best interests.



Boudaon© promised to maintain open communication with social partners and administrative authorities. He honored his predecessor, Salifou S©r©, acknowledging the significant contributions S©r© made during his tenure. S©r©, who led the provincial education structure for over two years, highlighted improvements in governance, infrastructure, and exam organization, which contributed to Ganzourgou being recognized as the top educational province in the Central Plateau.



Mariam Ouattara, representing the staff, commended S©r©’s leadership and assured Boudaon© of a supportive team. High Commissioner Sorgho/Gouba praised the progress fostered by S©r© and encouraged Boudaon© to continue fostering dialogue and attentiveness to field concerns.



S©r© entrusted Boudaon© with three key projects: overseeing upcoming school exams, continuing the tradition of recognizing deserving employees, and managing the provincial directorate’s football cup. The ceremony concluded with gifts for the outgoing director and congratulations to the new head.
