Casablanca: The Representative of Burkina Faso in Morocco, Mamadou Coulibaly, on Saturday called upon Burkinabe citizens residing in the Kingdom to become ‘ambassadors of a new Burkina Faso, standing, united, and moving towards its liberation and full sovereignty.’

According to Burkina Information Agency, Ambassador Coulibaly addressed his fellow nationals during a significant conference organized by the Embassy. This event was part of the National Days of Patriotic Commitment and Civic Participation, themed “For order and discipline, I commit myself.” The diplomat emphasized the importance of the message delivered by President Ibrahim Traor© on March 26, urging each citizen to take responsibility in building a Burkina Faso free from terrorism and imperialism.

President Traor©’s message highlighted the need for self-reflection among Burkinabe people, focusing on order, discipline, and the collective effort to revolutionize the nation. Ambassador Coulibaly reiterated the call for young people to actively participate in shaping Burkina Faso’s future and to avoid complacency. He urged the diaspora in Morocco to contribute their ideas, skills, and actions towards the nation’s development.

The conference featured discussions led by Ambassador Coulibaly and panelists Dr. Anselme Poda and Father Pierre Claver Belemsigri, who examined the theme from religious perspectives. The event concluded with a call for unity and discipline, drawing on religious teachings and the natural order as examples of structured success.

The conference was attended by notable figures, including the Ambassador of Mali to Morocco, Fafr© Camara, and representatives from Niger and local Moroccan institutions. It marked the conclusion of a series of activities celebrating the second edition of the National Days of Patriotic Commitment and Citizen Participation, organized by the Burkinabe Embassy in Morocco.
