Bobo-Dioulasso: The third edition of the artistic and cultural event in schools, called ‘€š¬…¡¬‚¬¦¡¬‚¬Å¡¬¦¡¬‚¬Å¡¬€¦¡¬¦¡¬ nous les scolaires (ANLES)’, was officially launched this Saturday, April 12, 2025, at the Maison des jeunes de Sapouy.

According to Burkina Information Agency, this edition brought together several primary and secondary schools in the commune of Sapouy. Participants are registered in various disciplines such as drawing (for primary), portraiture (for secondary), miming, storytelling, ballet (choice or traditional), sketch, recital (for primary), and slam (for secondary).

For this first elimination phase, the competing schools showcased their talents in drawing, portraiture, miming, and sketch. On stage, each group demonstrated their artistic skills in front of a jury and an audience composed mainly of students cheering for their classmates.

The theme for this third edition is “Cultural diversity and social cohesion for academic excellence.” The event is organized by the Association for the Promotion of Civic Values (APVAC). The second round of elimination is scheduled for Saturday, April 26, 2025, again at the Sapouy Youth Center.

On the morning of Saturday, April 12, members of the ANLES organizing committee gathered at the Sapouy Youth Center for a sanitation exercise. “We felt it was necessary, and even very important, to come and clean this place so that we could continue our activities peacefully,” said Dino Konat©, promoter of ANLES.
