Koubri: The commune of Koubri mobilized on Saturday more than 5,000,000 FCFA for the benefit of the Patriotic Support Fund, during a public conference on the Presidential Initiative for Community Development.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the Government of Burkina Faso, in an effort to promote participatory, inclusive, and sustainable development, is implementing several actions through the Presidential Initiative for Community Development. To enable the population to better understand this government vision, the commune of Koubri organized a public conference for the benefit of the offices of the Village Development Councils (CVD) and the populations of the 26 villages.
Led by the Project Manager Patrick GAMPINE, on behalf of the National Office of Major Projects of Burkina, the communication highlighted the three components of the IPDC, namely the construction and rehabilitation of priority socio-economic infrastructures, the improvement of the living environment and the preservation of the environment, and finally, the strengthening of the capacities of the basic communities. The development of these components allowed participants to better understand their roles and responsibilities for a paradigm shift in order to involve communities in addressing their daily issues.
The sponsor Kiswindsida Toussaint OUEDRAOGO and the Patron Ragnang-newind© Isidore TIEMTORE, Special Advisor to the President of Faso, called on the populations to remain mobilized around the state authorities and to depart from any form of manipulation carried out by the imperialists under the cover of terrorism. During the conference, a fundraiser was held to complete the voluntary contribution process launched in support of the fighting forces. In total, the sum of five million one hundred and sixty thousand two fifty (5,160,250) CFA francs was raised for the benefit of the Patriotic Support Fund.
