Ouagadougou: As part of job creation and
socio-professional integration, around sixty young people benefited from one month of training and received installation kits on Friday, September 6 at the Non-Formal Basic Education Center (CEBNF) in Solenzo.
In total, 36 girls and 24 boys were trained in different fields for their socio-professional integration.
This training also aims to contribute to the fight against youth unemployment.
According to the provincial director of youth and employment, Loh Abdoul Aziz Napo, the girls were trained in the manufacture of agri-food products and the boys in laying tiles.
Alima Kienou, beneficiary of a kit, was delighted: >>.
“I learned how to make sesame, cowpea and peanut croquettes, corn couscous and peanut shrimp, and sesame cakes and also soumbala,” she added.
The 24 boys were trained in sizing, assessing, cutting and laying tiles.
“We received materials for cutting tiles.
With this, we will no longer say that we are unemployed because many people want ti
les in their homes,” added Séverin Toé.
The High Commissioner of the Banwa province, Oumarou Sandwidi, who came to encourage the beneficiaries, invited them to get involved in order to boost self-employment in the Banwa province.
