During his stay in China, Prime Minister Apollinaire Kyelem de Tambela visited the state-owned company Aircas, specialized in the manufacture of warplanes, the CETC company, specialist in technologies and innovations in space conquest, airspace control, air navigation as well as digital means of communication.
In the Chinese capital, the Prime Minister granted a meeting with the leaders of the company Huawei, present in Burkina Faso through electronic communications infrastructure projects.
“For a long time there has been a media hype tending to make people believe that there is nothing to be gained (from the Chinese)” said Prime Minister Kyelem of Tambela before concluding that in fact, China offers Africa many more opportunities than the West.
Prime Minister Kyelem de Tambela led the Burkina Faso delegation to the Africa-China Cooperation Forum which took place from September 4 to 6, 2024 under the central theme: Joining forces to promote modernization and build a high-level China-Africa community with
a shared future.
