Moscow: Present in Moscow for the commemoration of the 80th anniversary of the Great Russian Victory, the President of Burkina Faso, Head of State, Captain Ibrahim Traor©, met with the staff of Burkina Faso’s diplomatic representation in Russia. He encouraged them for their work in promoting the nation’s image in the Russian Federation, urging them to “convey the good image of Burkina Faso by promoting our values.”
According to Burkina Information Agency, the head of the diplomatic mission, Ambassador Ludovic Tapsoba, expressed gratitude on behalf of all staff and shared his pride in the actions of the Burkinabe authorities towards the country’s development and its partnerships with nations like Russia. He emphasized the strong relations between the two countries, highlighting the frequent visits of Burkina Faso’s authorities to Russia as evidence.
Ambassador Tapsoba highlighted the excellent relations between Russians and Burkinabe, noting that Burkinabe residents in Russia have integrated well, with some marrying Russians and others negotiating partnerships with Russian companies. He underscored the importance of maintaining the image of honesty among Burkinabe in Russia to build mutual respect.
His Excellency Mr. Ludovic Tapsoba, along with embassy staff, committed to continuing their efforts in promoting Burkina Faso’s image. Currently, over 300 Burkinabe live in different regions of the Russian Federation, contributing to various sectors including economic, technical, scientific, and cultural fields.
