K©n©dougou: Following the results of the First Cycle Studies Certificate (BEPC), the province of K©n©dougou recorded a success rate of 47.90%.
According to Burkina Information Agency, 808 candidates were declared successful after the second round of written tests in the BEPC examination.
At the provincial level, the statistics show that 2,183 out of 4,557 registered candidates passed, comprising 996 girls and 1,187 boys, achieving a rate of 47.90%. The first round of results indicated a success rate of 56.31%, while the second round saw a rate of 40.67%.
The Sindo departmental high school, which had been closed since 2024 due to terrorism, reopened this year and achieved a 100% success rate in the BEPC exam. Lassana Coulibaly, the provincial director in charge of secondary education in K©n©dougou, described the success rate recorded by the Sindo departmental high school as satisfactory and indicative of the resilience of the school community.
“We have reason to be satisfied because this success rate of 47.90% at the provincial level is up from last year’s 42%. In addition, we have overtaken Tuy at 44% and Houet at 42.17%,” Coulibaly stated. He emphasized the need for continued efforts to achieve even better results in the future.
