Bissau: Angolan Minister of Foreign Affairs, T©te Ant³nio, will represent, on Friday, in Bissau, the President of the Republic, Joo Louren§o, at the 15th Conference of Heads of State and Government of the Community of Portuguese Speaking Countries (CPLP). This high-level meeting brings together the highest representatives of the CPLP Member States, aiming to deepen political-diplomatic coordination and strengthen ties of friendship and solidarity in the community.
According to Angola Press News Agency, at this conference, Guinea Bissau will assume the rotating presidency of the CPLP for two years (2025-2027), succeeding So Tom© and Prncipe. The central theme of the conference will be: “The CPLP and Food Sovereignty: A Path to Sustainable Development”, focusing on the promotion of food security and multisectoral cooperation to combat nutritional crises in Portuguese-speaking countries.
