Ninion: Ninion ‘A’ Primary School hosted a solidarity ceremony on Monday, marking a strong commitment to the needy children of the town, AIB noted.
According to Burkina Information Agency, under the effective presidency of the PDS of the commune of Kordie, Urbain Segueda, and in the presence of the head of the basic education district (CEB) of Kordie, Servais Dominique Tone, the event benefited 52 primary and post-primary students.
The beneficiaries received complete school kits, including supplies and books, tuition fees, and even two bicycles to facilitate their access to school. An anonymous donation also provided clothing, complementing the direct assistance provided to the students.
Generosity extended to the community and educational institutions. Thirty women were honored by the children’s godmother, Mrs. Alice Diboulo, each receiving a mat and a blanket.
In addition, reams of paper were distributed to key services such as the Kordie CEB and the Ninion CEG, while the four schools present received notebooks to support CM2 students. Ninion A school also received preparation notebooks for its six classes. Ten other schools in the commune will also be provided with educational materials by the hierarchy.
This important operation was made possible thanks to the contribution of generous donors including friends and supporters of the Zin-din association.
This day of solidarity, led by the “Zin-din, solidarity for development” movement, inspires renewed optimism for a peaceful and fruitful school year.
