Banwa: Internally displaced and vulnerable people in Tansila, a commune located 55 km from Solenzo, received a significant donation of food on Wednesday. This initiative was carried out by the Departmental Committee for Emergency Relief and Rehabilitation (CODESUR) to support 600 individuals in need.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the donation comprised 11 tons of rice, 4 tons of corn flour, and 7 tons of corn. The distribution provided each recipient with a 25kg bag of rice, 25kg of flour or corn, a packet of sugar, and a few cans of sardines.

Guissoro Dembel, a representative of the beneficiaries, expressed that this aid will greatly assist the internally displaced persons (IDPs) who have been struggling to sustain themselves by selling dry wood.
