Barga: The municipality’s Special Delegation President, Augustin Ilboudo, launched the second edition of the National Days of Patriotic Commitment and Citizen Participation (JEPPC) at the Basic Education District (CEB) in Barga.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the ceremony commenced with participants singing the Ditanye in Moore during the national flag-raising. Following this patriotic act, the PDS delivered a message from the President of Faso, Captain Ibrahim Traore. In his address, the President praised the unwavering patriotic spirit of the Burkinabe people and urged citizens to protect public property and combat corruption, which affects administration, businesses, and associations.
President Traore also called upon the educational sector to intensify efforts in promoting integrity, honesty, and civic-mindedness among learners. Daouda Sigue, head of the basic education district of Barga, emphasized the importance of these days for teachers and students to demonstrate their dedication to the nation. He expressed confidence that the two-week event would be as successful as the first edition and urged educational institutions to make the fight against corruption a reality.
Amidou Ouedraogo, representing DPEPPNF/Yatenga, encouraged Barga’s educational staff for their continued efforts in ensuring educational continuity in the province. The messages delivered during the ceremony were well-received by the attending teachers, who pledged to implement the initiatives effectively.
Senior officials, teachers, and students of the CEB were present at the ceremony, underscoring the community’s commitment to the goals of the JEPPC.
