Bazega: The road linking Tuili and several villages, damaged at the dam: Departmental road No. 45 linking Tuili and several villages in the commune of Kombissiri was damaged at the dam spillway after the rain of October 2, forcing users to take long detours to reach their destinations.

According to Burkina Information Agency, heavy rainfall recorded on Thursday, October 2, 2025, caused significant damage to the departmental road leading to Tuili and other villages in the area in the commune of Kombissiri. The overflow of waters from the dam at the entrance to the village of Tuili resulted in damage to the dike spillway, rendering this crucial access route impassable.

In a press release dated October 3, 2025, the Prefect and President of the special delegation of the commune, Boukary Porgo, issued a strong advisory for users to avoid the damaged dike to prevent any incidents or inconveniences. The closure of the road has necessitated urgent measures from the authorities in Kombissiri, who are working on plans to restore traffic promptly.

The road closure has compelled users to undertake long detours via alternate routes to reach their destinations until the necessary repairs are completed.
