Bougouriba/dolo: The commune of Dolo officially launched the second phase of the 2025 edition of the National Days of Patriotic Commitment and Citizen Participation (JEPPC) on Thursday, October 2, 2025, through a solemn raising of the national colors and the reading of the message from the President of Faso, Captain Ibrahim Traore, AIB learned. The ceremony was led by the President of the Special Delegation of Dolo, Ilyassa Ouedraogo, and was attended by the heads of decentralized services, their collaborators, and the Volunteers for the Defense of the Fatherland (VDP).
According to Burkina Information Agency, the Prefect of Dolo, in his speech, encouraged the people and workers of the municipality to embrace these days by participating in the activities organized at both departmental and municipal levels. “This is about demonstrating once again our attachment to the motherland,” he stated.
The activities for this phase include health days, wearing traditional clothing, and promoting local dishes. This second phase of the JEPPC is planned to last two weeks, concluding on October 16, 2025. Each state service has been invited to engage in patriotic activities following the guidelines of its supervisory ministry.
