Burkina Faso/National Colors Rise: Minister of Communication Calls for Unity to Succeed in Last Quarter’s Activities

Ouagadougou: The Minister of Communication, Culture, Arts and Tourism, Pingdwende Gilbert Ouedraogo, on Monday invited his colleagues to close ranks to implement the activities of the last quarter of 2025. This was during the monthly ceremony of raising the national colors within the Ministry.



According to Burkina Information Agency, the Minister expressed the need for unity among employees, urging them to collaborate with senior managers to ensure the successful execution of ongoing projects initiated at the beginning of 2025. The Minister’s speech highlighted the message from the President of Faso, Captain Ibrahim Traore, during the monthly national flag-raising ceremony, emphasizing the importance of unity and commitment.



The President, Captain Ibrahim Traore, underscored the necessity of safeguarding public property at the official launch of the second phase of the National Days of Patriotic Commitment and Citizen Participation (JEPPC) on October 2, 2025. The Minister noted that the administration plays a crucial role during times of Revolution, with the JEPPC focusing on the theme of order and discipline.



Pingdwende Gilbert Ouedraogo seized the opportunity to remind public administration agents and facilitators of their duty to maintain order and discipline in their work. He posed reflective questions about their contributions to the nation and their responsibility in managing public assets.



The Minister further elaborated on the vision of the Head of State, which aims to reduce operating costs to facilitate development actions benefiting all Burkinabe. Additionally, he mentioned the upcoming commemoration of Captain Thomas Sankara’s assassination on October 15, which will feature various activities to honor his legacy.



The JEPCC 2025’s second phase, running from October 2 to 16, 2025, will carry the theme “For order and discipline, I commit myself!” reflecting the government’s commitment to fostering a disciplined and orderly public administration.
