Ouagadougou: The Burkina Business House presented Monday, on behalf of the Patriotic Support Fund, a check for 7 million FCFA to the Ministry of Defense and Veterans.
As part of the fight against terrorism, the Burkina Faso Business House demonstrated its solidarity with the Transitional Government on Monday in Ouagadougou by contributing 7 million FCFA to the Patriotic Support Fund.
According to the 2nd vice-president of the board of directors of the donor structure, Daouda Diallo, this donation aims to enable the Combatant Forces to carry out their mission of securing the country, in order to create an environment conducive to the development of businesses in Burkina Faso. .
Mr. Diallo took the opportunity to salute ‘the bravery and sacrifice’ of the Defense and Security Forces (FDS) as well as the Volunteers for the Defense of the Fatherland (VDP) who are ensuring the return of peace and security in Burkina Faso.
Beyond this financial support, the Maison de l’Entreprise announced that it is carrying ou
t discussions with the personnel of the Defense and Security Forces in order to provide an appropriate response to the question of the socio-economic reintegration of soldiers in the end of their mission.
For his part, the Minister of State, Minister in charge of Defense, Brigadier General Kassoum Coulibaly, expressed, on behalf of the President of Faso, his gratitude to the general management of the Maison de l’Entreprise.
According to the Minister in charge of Defense, this gesture, which constitutes a response to the call for solidarity launched by the President of Faso, will be of great support to the fighting forces in curbing the security crisis facing the country.
The Burkina Faso Business House is a support structure for the development of the private sector. It offers, among other services, business creation, advisory support and capacity building for the benefit of small and medium-sized businesses.
