Ouagadougou: President Ibrahim Traoré promised on Thursday to put an end to the system of justice for the poor on the one hand and justice for the rich on the other.

The President of Faso, Captain Ibrahim Traoré, denounced on Thursday the discriminatory practices carried out by the justice system between litigants in Burkina.

‘We cannot understand that there is justice for the rich and justice for the poor,’ laments the President of Faso, Captain Ibrahim Traoré.

The President of Faso spoke Thursday in Ouagadougou in front of the strong forces of the nation who came to listen to the vision of the Head of State for the conduct of the Transition during the next five-year term.

When an ordinary citizen violates the law, he is automatically put in prison without trial, while the citizen who manages to mobilize 2 or 3 lawyers is quickly judged, notes President Traoré.

For Captain Traoré, magistrates are paid to judge everyone. There is no reason for certain cases to drag on in court.

According to the head of
state, a campaign will be launched in the coming days to try people detained for several months without trial.

The president also invited ‘sincere’ magistrates to set an example by leaving the group of corrupt magistrates who hide behind the union.

The head of state assured that the magistrates caught red-handed will be judged, while warning against a possible mood swing.
