Souleymane Lonfo was elected Saturday at the head of the Center-East Regional Football League, following a general assembly.
The various football players in the Center-East region met in the meeting room of the regional sports and leisure department.
They elected their president following an elective general assembly which went well. And it was the candidate Souleymane Lonfo who was elected by an absolute majority.
After the election of his successor, Mathieu Oleapekoum, with fair play, congratulated the incoming president and said he was willing to help him if the latter calls on him.
For the new president of the Central-East Football League, his first task is to train the players and organize competitions at all levels.
He also called on the sons and daughters of the region to work hand in hand for the promotion of football in the Central-East region.
As a reminder, Souleymane Lonfo is, on a sporting level, a former footballer and captain of Boulgou FC. He was elected under the banner of Sigri FC of T
enkodogo, of which he is currently the PCA.
