Kaya: The Koulse Regional Health Directorate organized a sanitation day on Saturday, October 4, 2025, prompting community-based organizations (CBOs) in Kaya to clean the courtyard of the directorate. At the request of the Koulse Regional Health Director, the CBOs arrived to clear the premises of weeds and garbage. Equipped with dabas, rakes, and loppers, participants worked to improve the work environment.

According to Burkina Information Agency, Idrissa Sare, head of the health promotion department at the Directorate, stated that this activity is part of the National Days of Patriotic Commitment and Citizen Participation (JEPPC). The initiative aims to promote civic-mindedness and cleanliness by engaging the community in cleaning public places.

Sare emphasized that the strong participation of CBOs demonstrates their dedication to the community and their resolve to combat unsanitary conditions.
