Dissihn: The very first teacher and Director of the Domser school in the commune of Dissihn, Joachim Bama, was welcomed by the population on Monday, September 22, 2025.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the population of Domser turned out in large numbers to mark the installation of the first teacher at the local school by Inspector Yaonkire Isidore Som, representing the Head of the Dissihn Basic Education District (CCEB).

The first Director promised to implement the national education policy in this locality. The head of Domser welcomed the first teacher assigned to the village, reassuring him by saying, “Don’t worry, from today you’re like our son.”

The CCEB representative congratulated the newly appointed director and offered advice for the success of his new mission. Mr. Bama faces the task of educating the children of Domser, who previously traveled 5 kilometers to acquire knowledge. As classrooms have not yet been built, the school will operate under a straw hut while the buildings are being erected. The construction of school infrastructure is planned, and the population has already gathered the necessary materials.
