Educational Reforms and Integration Issues Discussed at Koulse Primary School Supervisors Conference

Kaya: Primary school supervisors in the Koulse region are convening their annual conference focused on educational reforms and integration issues from October 8 to 11, 2025, in Kaya. The event was inaugurated by Rasmane Nikiema, the technical advisor to the governor of the Koulse region.



According to Burkina Information Agency, the conference provides a platform for exchange, reflection, and the sharing of experiences, with a central theme of “Implementation of educational reforms and appropriation of integration situations.” The sub-theme is “Appropriation of the Orientation Framework for Continuing Education and Pedagogical Supervision (COFCEP).”



Adama Simpore, the first vice-president of the Kaya municipal special delegation, commended the commitment of the region’s educational supervisors and highlighted the significance of local authorities in the successful implementation of educational reforms.



Moussa Ouedraogo, Regional Director of Preschool, Primary, and Non-Formal Education, encouraged active and constructive participation from attendees. He underscored the importance of collaboration and openness throughout the reflective sessions.



Rasmane Nikiema, the representative of the governor of the Koulse region, honored the Defense and Security Forces, Volunteers for the Defense of the Homeland, and educational personnel who have dedicated themselves to their duties. He emphasized that the success of educational reforms relies on educational supervisors and teachers taking ownership of the reforms.



The conference includes presentations, group work, simulations, and plenary discussions. Participants will delve into the practical aspects of the Orientation Framework for Continuing Education and Educational Supervision (COFCEP) and explore modules on education professions.
