Ganzourgou: The constituted bodies of Ganzourgou proceeded this Thursday morning to raise the colors at the high commission of Zorgho, marking the launch of the second fortnight of the National Days of Patriotic Commitment and Citizen Participation, 2025 edition. The ceremony took place under the chairmanship of the High Commissioner of the province, Aminata Sorgho/Gouba, who delivered a message from the President of Faso, Captain Ibrahim Traore.
According to Burkina Information Agency, in his address, the Head of State praised the patriotic spirit that is gradually awakening in every Burkinabe through the sacrifices made to build a sovereign, just, and prosperous nation. Captain Ibrahim Traore placed this second phase of the days under the banner of protecting public property and fighting corruption and racketeering. He emphasized that any willful damage or culpable negligence is a betrayal of the Revolution, recalling that public administration is the heart of the nation. He stated, “Anyone who extorts money from the people or embezzles the state’s meager resources is not a revolutionary but an enemy of the homeland.”
The President of Faso called for greater exemplary behavior in services, neighborhoods, and various structures, in order to pass on to future generations solid infrastructure, clean public services, and a society built on integrity and justice. At the end of the ceremony, Ms. Aminata Sorgho/Gouba expressed her gratitude to the province’s active forces for their mobilization and invited them to develop and implement activities related to the theme of the 2025 edition which is: “For order and discipline, I commit myself.”
This second phase takes place from October 2 to 16 throughout the national territory.
