Gnagna: Magistrate Tierobemane Arsene Some was officially installed in his duties as president of the High Court (TGI) of Bogande during a formal hearing. The ceremony was attended by the High Commissioner of Gnagna, Jean Baptiste Beogo, accompanied by his closest collaborators.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the formal hearing began at 10:16 a.m. on Monday, October 6, 2025, with the presence of judicial, administrative, military, and paramilitary authorities, as well as numerous guests. The event was marked by the reading of texts and decrees by the registry, appointing Magistrate Tierobemane Arsene Some as the head of the Bogande High Court. He succeeds Magistrate Yempabou Onadja, who has moved on to serve as Counselor at the Fada N’Gourma Court of Appeal after four years leading the jurisdiction.
The outgoing president expressed his gratitude to the court staff and colleagues for their dedication to serving justice. He advised his successor to serve the population and satisfy litigants, and to always consider the legacy he will leave with the people of Sirba. The outgoing president also highlighted the resilience of the court staff during his term, which included a temporary relocation to Fada N’Gourma due to insecurity, and expressed pride in leading a court that was recognized as a Knight of the Burkinabe Order of Merit.
The prosecutor of Faso at the Bogande TGI commended the outgoing president’s dedication and wished him success in his new role. He also reaffirmed the staff’s support for the incoming president. In his acceptance speech, the new president expressed gratitude to his superiors for their trust and committed to continuing the work of justice with dedication and fairness.
The installation of the new president aims to strengthen the Burkinabe judicial system, bringing justice closer to citizens and serving social peace.
