Kalsaka: School Year Commences Amid National Days of Patriotic Commitment

Kalsaka: The start of the school year in the Kalsaka Basic Education District coincided with the launch of the second edition of the National Days of Patriotic Commitment and Citizen Participation (JEPPC). The Prefect President of the special delegation, Antoine Tiendrebeogo, officially commenced the activities on Monday, October 6.



According to Burkina Information Agency, the launch event began with a ceremonial raising of the national colors at Kalsaka “A” school. This was followed by the reading of speeches from the President of Faso and the Minister of Basic Education, Literacy, and the Promotion of National Languages, delivered by Antoine Tiendrebeogo. He emphasized the importance of fostering patriotism, safeguarding public property, and combating corruption.



During the event, the Prefect also extended his congratulations to students, teachers, parents, and the educational community, acknowledging their ongoing efforts for the benefit of the students. The initiative drew inspiration from the Minister’s speech, underscoring the collective responsibility of the community in nurturing educational growth.



The occasion also saw the Kalsaka police commissioner addressing safety concerns. He highlighted the necessity of wearing helmets and raised awareness regarding the issues of child disappearances and vehicle thefts within the commune. Numerous activities related to the JEPPC are planned, as noted by the commune’s chief official.
