Kenedougou Flag-Raising Ceremony Calls for Strengthened Patriotism

Kenedougou: The President of the Special Delegation (PDS) of the commune of N’dorola, Fatoumata Ouedraogo, presided over a significant ceremony on Monday, October 6, 2025, marking the second phase of the National Days of Patriotic Commitment and Citizen Participation (JNEPPC). She called on the population to enhance their patriotic efforts and actively contribute to national unity.



According to Burkina Information Agency, the event commenced with the raising of the national flag, accompanied by the national anthem, which served as a potent symbol of unity and dedication to republican principles. Fatoumata Ouedraogo conveyed a message from the Head of State, Captain Ibrahim Traore, encouraging citizens to boost their patriotic involvement for the nation’s consolidation.



In a gesture of civic responsibility, school supplies were distributed to deserving students, including those from vulnerable backgrounds in N’dorola. This initiative also extended to learners across other educational levels.



The donation was orchestrated by Sarat Bazoum, a former student of a local school, aiming to enhance the educational experience of students in her hometown. Local authorities and recipients praised this act of solidarity, aligning with JNEPPC’s mission to foster active citizenship, unity, and national pride.
