Kouka: The schoolchildren of the Volunteers for the Defense of the Fatherland (VDP) who fell on the field of honor and the internally displaced students received school kits for the 2025-2026 school year on Thursday, September 25, 2025, at the Kouka town hall.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the municipal authorities, accompanied by traditional and religious leaders of Kouka, graciously offered school kits consisting of notebooks, pens, school bags, and rulers to the internally displaced students of Kouka and to the students of the VDP who fell on the battlefield.

Raymond Ilboudo, PDS of the commune of Kouka, stated that this gesture is an act of solidarity to support these students at the start of the school year. “We made this donation to relieve these students because they did not choose to be in this situation. We will always be there to express our solidarity and pray for a return of peace to our country,” said Ilboudo.
