Koulpelogo: The daughters and sons of the commune of Soudougui responded massively to the authorities’ call for the 2nd phase of the National Days of Patriotic Commitment and Citizen Participation (JEPPC) on Saturday, October 4, 2025. Armed with shovels and dabas, citizens mobilized to clean up public services and common areas, thus contributing to the improvement of the living environment and the smooth running of local administrations.
According to Burkina Information Agency, this citizen initiative has enabled the cleaning of offices, courtyards, and areas surrounding public services, as well as the collection of waste in community spaces, promoting a healthy environment for workers and users. The massive participation of young people, women, and men of all ages demonstrates their commitment to cleanliness and social cohesion.
The President of the Soudougui Special Delegation, Nebyinga Ouedraogo, welcomed the population’s involvement and noted that these actions go beyond simple sanitation. They strengthen the link between the population and public services, consolidate the spirit of solidarity, and promote better collaboration between citizens and local authorities.
