Tenkodogo: Three representatives from Koulplogo have qualified to represent their province at the Bobo 2026 National Culture Week (SNC) after excelling in the regional phases held in Tenkodogo. The selected representatives will participate in the disciplines of wrestling, slam poetry, and cooking.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the provincial representatives emerged as top performers during the regional competitions and are set to showcase their talents at the national level. The wrestlers, alongside Mr. KOARA Nabonswend Archange in slam poetry and Miss NIKIEMA Chrifa in the culinary arts, specifically in the drink category, will carry the hopes of Koulplogo at the SNC 2026.

The Provincial Director of Communication, Culture, Arts and Tourism, Patouinewende Belem, extended his congratulations to the winners and encouraged them to represent Koulplogo with distinction during the final phase in Bobo-Dioulasso in 2026. He acknowledged the dedication of all participants, highlighting the remarkable performance of the Tkal Troupe from the Gorgo School of Yargatenga, which secured second place in the traditional dance category in the youth pool during its first participation.

Mr. Belem expressed his appreciation to the supervisors, guides, and partners who played a pivotal role in this collective achievement, emphasizing the importance of their support in reaching this milestone.
