Leraba: 54 internally displaced and orphaned students received school kits in Sindou, as the provincial director of Humanitarian Action in Leraba, Ousmane Ouedraogo, presided over the distribution event. The ceremony took place on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, marking the beginning of the current school year.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the event saw the distribution of school supplies to 54 students, comprised of 26 girls and 28 boys, who have been displaced or are orphaned. The initiative aims to support these students in continuing their education despite the challenges they face.

Mr. Ouedraogo expressed gratitude to the Ministry of Humanitarian Action and UNICEF, acknowledging their crucial role in making this initiative possible. He was joined by some parents of the beneficiaries in thanking the authorities for their support. The provincial director also extended his congratulations to the students and wished them success as they embark on the new school year.
