Sikoro: Louis Traore was elected president of the school council of the village of Sikoro during an elective general meeting of the school council office held on Monday, October 6, 2025. Parents of students were strongly mobilized for the event, which aimed to establish a new decision-making body for the school.
According to Burkina Information Agency, Louis Traore was unanimously chosen to lead the executive board of the Sikoro village school council, which comprises 12 members. Traore expressed his awareness of the responsibilities that come with the position and assured that the office would actively support teachers in their efforts to ensure student success.
The establishment of the school council was initiated by a presidential decree on July 16, 2025, effectively replacing previously existing bodies within schools.
