Ouagadougou: he Government of Mali is once again authorizing the resumption of the political activities of parties and organizations that it had suspended since April 10, 2024, report several Malian media consulted this Thursday by the AIB.
During its council of ministers on July 10, the government of Mali adopted the ‘decree lifting the suspension of the activities of political parties and the activities of a political nature of associations’, we can read in the report of the meeting broadcast by the newspaper L’Essor.
The government explains that the suspension of these types of activities was taken in order to guarantee security conditions within the framework of the inter-Malian dialogue for peace and national reconciliation, organized from April 13 to May 10, 20214.
Considering that the inter-Malian dialogue was held in the best conditions and that the time has come to implement the recommendations resulting from this dialogue, the government of Mali has judged that there is no longer any reason to ma
intain this suspension.
