Ouagadougou: The Grand Chancellery of the Orders of Burkina Faso organized a public conference on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, aiming to educate the vital forces of Nahouri about the nation’s symbols. This initiative was part of the second edition of the national days of patriotic commitments and citizen participation.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the conference, held under the theme “The symbols of the nation, the patriotic and civic values,” was led by the Secretary General of the Grand Chancellery, Pierre Zanre. Zanre provided a detailed presentation on the symbols of Burkina Faso, which was followed by discussions among the participants.
The participants explored the significance of national symbols, including the emblem of Burkina Faso, the national anthem, the coat of arms, and the national motto. These discussions enlightened the participants about the underlying values these symbols represent, fostering a deeper understanding and commitment to them.
Post-conference, attendees expressed their appreciation for the event and pledged to become ambassadors of the nation’s symbols and the values they embody. The Secretary General emphasized that the event’s objectives were met, citing the active participation and fruitful discussions as indicators of success.
Nahouri Province’s High Commissioner, Sie Aristide Mohamed Kam, encouraged attendees to act as educators, promoting the values conveyed by national symbols. The conference commenced with the singing of the victory anthem, symbolizing triumph over adversarial forces, setting a patriotic tone for the day’s proceedings.
