Namentenga: The Laafi Waya Traditional Practitioners Association of Namentenga handed over the sum of 150,000 FCFA to the Guepard unit on Friday, October 3, 2025, through the High Commissioner of the province, Adama Conseiga. This gesture, according to the president of the Kirsyamba association, Jean Claude Sawadogo, aims to encourage the Guepard unit in its drive to reclaim the national territory.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the president of the association, Jean Claude Sawadogo, expressed their support by stating, “We come with this modest contribution to show the Cheetah unit that it has our full support and that we daily implore the manna of the ancestors of Namentenga to protect them and accompany them to the final victory.” The sum of 150,000 FCFA was handed over to the High Commissioner, Adama Conseiga, for the Cheetah unit.

Mr. Conseiga expressed gratitude for the support on behalf of his hierarchy and the Cheetah unit, acknowledging the patriotic gesture. He urged the members of the association to contribute according to their skills for the return of peace to Burkina Faso.

The Laafi Waya association of traditional practitioners in Namentenga is focused on promoting traditional pharmacopoeia within the province.
