New Commander of 2nd Fire and Rescue Company Vows to Maintain Predecessor’s Legacy

Houet: The new Commander of the second fire and rescue company, Captain Prosper G. Belemsigri, has pledged to work alongside his colleagues to consolidate the achievements of his predecessor and sustain ongoing efforts to ensure a rapid and effective response to public needs.



According to Burkina Information Agency, Captain Prosper G. Belemsigri made this commitment on Thursday during a handover ceremony at the Second Fire and Rescue Company (CIS 2) in Bobo-dioulasso. He emphasized his dedication to preserving the accomplishments of the previous commander, Lieutenant-Colonel Mamadou Go, while continuing to advance the momentum established under Go’s leadership.



Captain Belemsigri expressed his gratitude to the high command for the trust placed in him and acknowledged the significant contributions made by his predecessor. He reiterated his commitment to fulfilling the public service mission, particularly in safeguarding the communities of Guiriko and the users of the RN1.



The handover ceremony, chaired by the commander of the National Fire Brigade (BNSP), Colonel Daba Naon, was attended by numerous military and paramilitary officials from the Bobo-Dioulasso garrison, who gathered to support the new leadership team.
