Noumbiel: Director of Education Calls for Support for Reforms in the Education System

Noumbiel: The provincial director in charge of basic education in Noumbiel, Hendrix Dayvis Sankara, on Monday invited all stakeholders to actively engage in educational reforms with a view to improving the quality of education in the province.



According to Burkina Information Agency, the province of Noumbiel officially launched the 2025-2026 school year on Monday at the Batie A public primary school under the theme: “Educational reforms for quality education and training for all: challenges and perspectives” on the occasion of the solemn rotating raising of the national colors.



Seizing the opportunity, Mr. Sankara paid a vibrant tribute to the entire educational body on the occasion of International Teachers’ Day celebrated every October 5, while inviting them to instill in learners the values of civic-mindedness, citizenship, and above all, patriotic commitment.



Chaired by the High Commissioner of the province, Drissa Hema, the ceremony brought together administrative, customary, and religious authorities as well as the educational body and partners.



While welcoming the mobilization, the High Commissioner emphasized the importance of celebrating the days of patriotic commitment and civic participation by all socio-professional groups. In addition, Mr. Hema urged the constituted bodies as well as all the active forces to become more involved for a more successful school year.
