Passore: The commune of Pilimpikou launches the 2nd phase of the national days of patriotic commitment and citizen participation
As part of the second phase of the National Days of Patriotic Commitment and Citizen Participation (JEPPC), the President of the special communal delegation (PDS) of Pilimpikou, Adama Ouedraogo organized on Monday, October 6, 2025, at the Pilimpikou A public primary school, a raising of the colors to mark the start of the celebration in the commune. The special delegation of the commune has laid out a comprehensive schedule for the observance of this initiative in 2025.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the launch was highlighted by the reading of a message from the President of Faso, Captain Ibrahim Traore. The manager of the Basic Education District (CEB) of Pilimpikou, Passibsom Illy, was tasked with delivering the President’s message. This phase of the JEPPC will include a variety of activities aimed at enhancing community involvement.
The agenda features sanitation operations in public structures, the introduction of “sport for all” initiatives, and a public conference centered around the theme: “What role for each education player for a successful school year?” Additionally, the reforestation project named “One Public Structure – One Grove” is set to plant seven trees in each public structure within the municipality.
To further bolster civic engagement, the PDS will initiate a call for contributions to support the Faso Mebo initiative. This effort aims to foster a spirit of solidarity and civic responsibility among local populations.
