Sandbontenga/justice: Two new magistrates installed at the Kaya TGI: The president of the Kaya High Court (TGI), Hate Yves Mane, proceeded on Friday with the installation of magistrates Andre Samba and Salif Ki, respectively vice-president of the Kaya TGI and senior investigating judge of the Kaya TGI.
According to Burkina Information Agency, Judge Andre Samba was appointed on July 17, 2025, by decree n°2025-0943/PF/MJDHRI/MEF. He has been installed in his functions as vice-president of the High Court of Kaya, in addition to his role as vice-president of the Administrative Court of Kaya. Meanwhile, Salif Ki has been installed as the senior investigating judge of the TGI of Kaya.
During the ceremony, the president of the Kaya High Court, Hate Yves Mane, acknowledged the reading of the reference documents and the prosecution’s requisition. Following this, he declared the magistrates seated and invited them to occupy their designated seats.
The public prosecutor and government commissioner at the Kaya High Court, Theodore Bance, took the opportunity to present the newly appointed judges to the audience as part of his requisition.
