Yamoussoukro: The Burkina Faso Cadet Stallions qualified for the semi-finals after the Beninese Cadet team lost 1-4 to their Nigerian counterparts on Wednesday in the West African Union of Football Federations Zone B (UFOA-B) tournament taking place in Yamoussoukro, Ivory Coast, according to the Burkinabe Football Federation (FBF).

According to Burkina Information Agency, “the Stallions are already looking ahead to the semi-finals. After the heavy defeat of the Benin U17 Cheetahs against Nigeria 1-4, the Burkinabe cadets with 3 points + 1 are positioned behind Nigeria (3 points + 3)”. After two defeats, Benin is eliminated with 0 points in this group B of 3.

Next Saturday, on the field of the Lyce Scientifique de Yamoussoukro, Moussa Sanogo Falcao’s players will play their final group match against Nigeria for the lead in the group.
