Koulpelogo: A weeding operation was organized this Thursday, October 9, 2025, at the Medical Center with Surgical Antenna (CMA) of Ouargaye, aiming to provide a clean, healthy, and safe environment for users.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the activity involved several stakeholders, including Community Health Workers (CHWs), local association leaders, and CMA staff. Equipped with cleaning equipment, the participants proceeded to weed and clean up the area around the center.

The head physician of the Ouargaye CMA, Dr. Marou Nikiema, praised the population’s commitment to the work accomplished. He also encouraged the continuation of such citizen initiatives, which guarantee a better healthcare environment for all.

The organizers stated that this initiative aims to improve the reception and working environment within the CMA and to promote hygiene in health facilities.
