Yatenga: The High Commissioner of Yatenga, Tassere Nacoulma, chaired the ceremony marking the second edition of the JEPPC within the Provincial Directorate of Secondary Education and Technical and Vocational Training (DPESFPT), attended by administrative authorities and educational staff from high schools and colleges in the province.
According to Burkina Information Agency, participants united in singing the victory anthem, followed by the High Commissioner’s reading of a message from President Ibrahim Traore of Burkina Faso. The President’s message urged citizens to uphold values such as order, discipline, exemplary behavior, and the protection of public property, while also condemning corruption.
The message emphasized that anyone who misuses public funds is not a revolutionary but an enemy of the homeland. The High Commissioner encouraged the educational community to exhibit these virtues, particularly towards students, who are seen as pivotal to the country’s development.
Besare Ouedraogo, the provincial director of secondary education and vocational and technical training, expressed confidence that the President’s message would be embraced by staff, emphasizing the importance of patriotism, integrity, and respect for public property and laws. He acknowledged the significant achievements of the province in the past school year and urged continued dedication.
Zakaria Ouedraogo, a German teacher at Yadega high school in Ouahigouya, exemplified the dedication and motivation of the teaching staff, committed to promoting the values endorsed by Burkina Faso’s leaders.
