Bagassi: Members of the Association of Young People in Solidarity for Progress (AJSP), in collaboration with the Bagassi town hall’s green brigade, spearheaded a sanitation day on September 21, 2025, targeting key public service sites in the town.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the initiative focused on cleaning the premises of the CSPS and the basic education inspection service in Bagassi. The young volunteers undertook comprehensive cleaning efforts both in the courtyards and within the offices, utilizing brooms, wheelbarrows, and hoes to transform the environment into a clean and welcoming space.

The head of the Basic Education District (CCEB) extended the scope of the initiative to include a reforestation project, with the AJSP receiving technical support from the environmental department. The AJSP president emphasized that the initiative was designed to promote cleanliness and environmental protection, urging the continuation and expansion of such citizen actions to enhance living conditions in the community.

The city hall, responsible for mobilizing the Green Brigade, praised the youth’s efforts, while the CCEB expressed satisfaction and encouraged similar future initiatives. The event concluded with participants feeling accomplished in their contribution to the community.
